As the principal of Memorial Elementary School, it is vital to maintain an open line of communication between school and home. This website was created for the Memorial Community to find information that may be helpful during the school year.

It is our responsibility, as a school community, to ensure that every child receives a quality education within a safe and respectful learning environment. I know the staff at Memorial Elementary School shares that same value.

Our staff and teachers look forward to continue serving the students and families of the Montvale community. We accomplish this by participating in on-going professional development opportunities to enhance the learning in the classroom. Our focus is to understand how each child learns, and develop lessons that will support and enrich our growing students.

Teachers continue to maintain an open line of communication between home and school. This is done thorough our website, email, newsletters, and conferencing. I encourage you to contact your child’s teacher with any questions or concerns regarding your child’s academic or social performance.

We believe that parent involvement is a very healthy part of a child’s education. I encourage you to become involved in our school by joining either our Parent Teacher Organization or the Montvale Educational Foundation. For working parents, it may be difficult to commit yourself to one of these great organizations. However, you can still be a part of our school by attending parent/teacher conferences, serving as a volunteer for an activity, attend parent workshop, or a principal forum.

As a school, we continue to grow to meet the needs of today’s students. We value your input, and you are always welcome to provide suggestions on how we can improve our school. I am looking forward to continue working closely with the staff and parents of Memorial School to provide the best possible educational opportunities for our students.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns at 201-391-2900.
